The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Jayamatha Engineering College was established in 1995 and has since maintained high standards in imparting quality education in Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Technology. The department offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs that are regularly updated to keep pace with the fast-changing technological landscape and industrial demands. Students in this department receive comprehensive training in both theoretical and practical aspects of computer science, enabling them to excel in their careers.

Curriculum and Learning Approach

The curriculum for both undergraduate and postgraduate students is designed to cover the fundamentals of computer science while exposing students to advanced topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cryptography, and distributed computing. The department is also equipped with a seminar hall that has a seating capacity of 120 and features LCD projectors, laptops, and a public addressing system to facilitate seminars and presentations.
