At Jayamatha Engineering College (JEC), discipline is a cornerstone of our academic and institutional culture. Attendance

Attendance is mandatory for all students as per Anna University requirements, with a minimum of 75% attendance necessary for eligibility to appear in examinations. Regular attendance is crucial for academic success and helps students remain engaged with their coursework and projects.

Dress Code

The dress code at JEC ensures that students present themselves in a professional and respectful manner, reflecting the discipline expected in the engineering field.

  1. For Boys:
    • Regular attire: Black pants with a sky blue shirt.
    • Workshop attire: Khaki shirt (required for workshops and practical sessions).
  2. For Girls:
    • Regular attire: Light violet churidar with a duppatta.
    • Workshop attire: Dark blue overcoat (required for workshops and practical sessions).

All students are expected to adhere to the dress code during their time on campus, fostering a sense of unity and professionalism that is in line with industry standards. Non-compliance with the dress code may lead to disciplinary action.
